Role: Visual Design & Illustration

USA TODAY launched a suite of new Oscars coverage features, and the marketing team wanted to highlight its site and app as go-to destinations for live commentary. 

Leveraging the brand’s iconic use of flat colors and wry wit, I designed and illustrated a full-page print ads and several digital banner ads. The team was also invited to come up with more ‘out of the box’ concepts for these ads—some fun but not-quite-right concepts included below.
