USA TODAY asked me to create an in-app game experience to demonstrate the rich-media advertising possibilities on their new mobile app. Luck of the Deal enables viewers to travel the globe with Travelocity’s famed gnome in search of the best travel bargains. Should the viewer land on a deal worth taking, they can begin the booking process, or share the opportunity with a travel buddy.
I concepted and storyboarded Luck of the Deal before creating its UX and visual design.
