Role: UI Design
GoKid is an app for busy parents with busy children. Instead of spending hours tracking long email chains and making phone calls to set up transportation, parents using GoKid can set up and participate in carpools with ease.
Given the highly utilitarian nature of the app, we knew that the UI needed to be clean, with no distractions from the tasks of setting up carpools, navigation, and calendar management. At the same, we wanted the app to appear sophisticated-yet-approachable; playful-yet-pragmatic.
