Clifford the Big Red Dog is one of Scholastic’s most successful properties, having spawned a t.v. show, toys, and countless warm-hearted books.The site needed to look clean enough to appeal to adults, while engaging children with animation and beautiful graphics. Above all, the site needed to emphasize Clifford’s immense size.
When designing and animating this site, Clifford’s warm smile brightened even the latest work nights and weekends. Significant elements of UX have already changed since I worked on it, but I hope the site remains a joyful destination for years to come.
